I know we usually see Luccian in a happier setting or mood, but his past hasn't all been happy. After he was Turned into a vampire as a teen, he had to run away from home out of fear for his family getting hurt. He got together what he could that night of his Turning, and tried to bolt. What stopped him?

His baby sister, Jennifer, woke up during the night due to the noise and found him. He managed to stay in the shadows so that Jenn wouldn't see what happened... But it was still a very hard good-bye that haunts them both to this day.

Jenn did grow up to be a successful lawyer, married, and has two boys of her own. Luccian... well, made his way to Vegas and has had his own difficult path to finding happiness. But he's making headway!

But... Will they ever meet again? Will Luci ever get the chance to explain what happened to Jenn and ask for forgiveness?
